The readings for this week helped to further my understanding of networked art. The concrete and process poetry bring in elements of The Happenings. Theses styles of poetry step away from contextual meaning and bring out new forms of communication. The work is an “objective view of reality.” I find this to be a smart artistic move because it gets the audience involved and thinking about the artist’s work. They are no longer just an observer, but a piece of the art because the artist/poet knew their audience would be questioning their work.
