borges

I found Borges' tail pretty trippy and rather fascinating. At the same time, as most people have mentioned, it was also rather confusing. It reminded me of a Christopher Nolan film, like Memento or Inception, where he completely messes with space, time, and imagination and leaves the reader guessing throughout. He jumps from one scenario to a completely different one and they eventually merge into one complete story in the end. The reader never really knows what is going on and what the reasons are. However, the end culminates in a decisive scene that draws the whole story into a whole, but leaves some questions open to interpretation for the reader.
