11/18

In Craig Saper’s Networked art, I personally liked the idea of including monikers within their works of art. For years people have signed their art in some way and if not providing this sort of fake name or whatever it happens to be they attempt to put a certain style or marking in their work that can show this is from them. Artists have used it, authors have used it, and of course musical artists more than often perform under a certain “stage” name. As someone else brought up you often also see these types of monikers in graffiti works of art. Just because you’re representing for your artwork in some way doesn’t change the feel of the art for me, it actually enhances it and gives it a certain persona.
