The first thing I read in chapter three, the first few lines talked about how there was an "art strike" where artists wouldnt produce art. It made me legit laugh out loud because most people who have the title 'artist' chose it for themselves as a job because they love to do it and not to produce something for someone else for money. When it isnt fun or considered a chore then you can go on strike for more money or whatever is wanted, but artists? I thought they did art becasue they liked it so much.
What I do understand the strike from a delivery standpoint. Getting the art out there for everyone to see and distributing it is part of the art process. If that isnt getting dealt with or if it isnt being done right i could see where the artist would get mad. The strike is confusing till you add factors within the strike, specifically like what it is about.
