The section of Networked Art by Craig Saper that we’ve read so far was really interesting. I thought it was really funny to hear what the artist J.S.G. Boggs did with drawing currency and using it in society. I thought that the whole idea and concept was pretty cool. Also, I thought that Ray Johnson’s idea of “on-sending” was pretty interesting. It is slightly reminiscent of the exquisite corpse parlor game we played in that one relies on others in the network to add something to the piece and then send it to the next person in the network. It differs because with Johnson’s idea, you may or may not know the next person in the network.
