Post 9/12
Having read about the Holocaust in past history classes I know what to expect when I read the book for this class. The overall story was somewhat what I was expecting but it was like in High Definition. It was the same story but with hightened senses of sight. Everything described was so fluid and brutal that it is sad to know that it really did happen. Having read the story it had a good imagery that put the story into my head and almost played it as a movie and not a book. It is very dark too. The emotion behind the writing of this story feels as though it was written with lots of hatred of what had happened. Hatred and anger makes this a dark story that gives it a real emotional feeling to it rather than a biography about the story that goes all hunky doory. Having feeling in the story makes the reader sense the anger and makes reading all the more interesting.
