10/12

It feels odd to be saying that I enjoyed reading Charles Reznikoff's book Holocaust. I don't think “enjoyed” it the right word but I was captivated by it. The way the book is written is very quick and very descriptive. You truly get a horrified look into what went on during the Holocaust, I can't imagine having to go through all of the Nuremberg Trial transcripts. What stood out for me was part one of chapter three. I liked the ironic POV tone of the Nazis and them explaining what they thought was right. I also like the detached tone it was written in.
