9/30 Response
This review is even more interesting than the previous reading we did from the Dada movement. They write in an innovative way, but at the same time it's still accessible to every day people; most can understand what they're trying to write. This is what makes it interesting to read. It's not necessary to sit there while reading and attempt to decipher every little thing being written. With the Dada movement, their ideas are right out there and there isn't as much deciphering which I like. I thought the automatic text article by Francis Picabia and Tristan Tzara was really interesting. That one was more difficult to read of course because one of the paragraphs was written upside down, but I thought it was extremely interesting that they even came up with that. Also the article by Gabrielle Buffet was interesting. It was nice to have a female's perspective in a mostly male dominated movement.
