Jackson Maclow has a very interesting point about pleasure and the art form. He said that art is all about the feeling of pleasure. In some ways I agree and in others I don’t. Because in some things we have read this semester there are people who do art to prove a point, and some just do it for fun. In Maclows art it related to Buddhism, which was very interesting to me. All he cared about was the meaning behind the art, and the pleasure he felt through doing it. His art is all about the real world and what is in the real world and not the fantasy world. This whole thing was very interesting and something I want to get to know better in class tomorrow.
