I found Kaprow's article “The Happenings Are Dead: Long Live the Happenings” very interesting to read, mostly in terms of how it deals with the creation of art and the culture that forms around art. I found rule 5 to be most interesting in that it basically says there should not be any specific forms a piece of artwork has to follow. The topic of being “underground” is interesting as well, as the image of being “underground” and actually being “underground” can be totally different things. This kind of image can be completely staged for the artist's image and work to appear as something else.
