For class we had to read about networked art. Allan Kaprow defined an art form as an action taken from the environment. He basically took what was originally there for art and replaced it with something else and called it his own art. A lot of people would call that plagiarism in a paper if the original artist were not given credit for his own work. But apparently art is different in that way. This article reminded me of the incident that happened with Obama’s picture that a man took and someone else photo shopped it and made his own money off of it. This was an interesting article for me and something I have never thought about doing.
