The readings from this week were very interesting overall, but finally to learn more about the women who served as muses, experimenters, sometimes patients in the experiments, and that came to create as well maybe even better than some of the males. In the Mens works such as Aragons and desnos the works seem less dream like and more narrative, therefore less automatic maybe its because it was there longer works or maybe because the womens came later usually but theres seemed more true to some of the ideals of surrealism. Many of the men in this movement had already been involved in other movements before or were at least studying literature and art, but many of these women were not involved in any of that except the Bourgeoisie art, they were naive to a lot of the futurists and dadas ideas many of the men were familiar with them. That might be why women were slower to get any print or recognition in this movement. But eventually they picked up on it very well and made excellent poems such as Beznos i go the wind pusing me where she attack and idol of most men and calls him out for being bourgeoisie, or valentine penroses poem There is the fire and dartura the serpent they just seem more like automatic writing to me then the mens.
