10/14
Reading the second part of this Holocaust book was extremely hard compared to the first part. Yes the first part had very graphic and terrible things in it; but the second part of it I feel like he had no mercy in sparing our feelings and giving us mental images we had from reading his work. I thought it was good thing that he did that though because in all the movies and other readings about the Holocaust they sugar coated everything and just gave us the general idea. Reznikoff did exactly what he thought was right and showed us what he really went through, and what it really means to be a Holocaust survivor, and I really admired that, and enjoyed reading about what he had to say.
