10/14 Holocaust

The second part of Holocaust was similar to the first but different situation. I think Reznikoff does a well job from an objective point of view and definitely shows a aspect of objectivism. I think that being objective it makes the reading very detached from emotion and the feeling of what the Holocaust really meant and the people that were hurt by it. Reading certain parts especially the section of the Children. It was such a sad story and event that was occurring but I was just reading it not engaging in the story. I am not sure if that is what is meant by this style of writing but is definitely how it came together for me. I think the poems are well written and definitely bring a different style to the table.
