Suicide Circus 9/14

Reading the beginning of Suicide Circus has already made me question the type of author Kruchenykh was. The poems of his I have read thus far are different from any poetry I am familiar with. In the book, they begin by telling a little about Kruchenykh in which they warn that he was very unique in the type of work he produced. I definitely recognized what they were referring to after I began reading his poems. The layout of his poems is not standard. He uses different text sizes, adjusts the alignment of the text, etc… I noticed while reading some of the poems, I am having a hard time grasping what he is trying to convey. From what I have gathered, he seems to move from one topic to another quite often before ending the previous thought. It seems to me that Kruchenykh had abstract thoughts that can be difficult to understand. This relates to the futurist theme we have been discussing. You have to think beyond what is in front of you in order to understand what is being presented.
