After reading the first article, "The Founding and Manifesto of Futurism," it brought a lot of things to my attention. One being the fact that the way it was written it almost bored me to sleep. What keep me reading it instead of just pretending I read it was the way everything was described in a sense where it would paint a picture in my head and I could see everything in the 'story.' It doesn't have the rhyming theme to it, but it had a poetic feeling at certain points among the paper. This story had a gloomy feel for it because it had so many dark lines throughout.
Having read the "Horizons" article it made reflect upon it because it was a lot to read going into it. It basically represented the mind of a person as being its own expansion, meaning you will think as far as your own mind will let you. By opening your mind as a reader, listener, or viewer to a new wider "Horizon" (haha since the title is Horizons) you can think things you have never thought of before. I loved the section on 'The Erotic of Fusion' because it represents fusion as a state of love, being in love or just the act of love. It shows that the mind works in everyday ways and it can be as simple or as difficult and confusing as this word called 'Love.'
