Post for 9/9

When you think of feminists what do you see? I see the old time war posters with the empowering slogans to encourage women to help out the war causes with working in factories and buying war bonds to help support the troops. For a lot of the Feminist Manifesto this is what I thought of and saw in my head throughout. But as I was reading I got a different perspective on it as well. I got more of a soft feeling that had a more feminine tone of voice to it. I was expecting throughtout the whole reading a in my face tone of voice that says that women have every respect that a man should have. While I did see some of that in the paragraph I also got alot of the laid back feeling too.
