On 9/16

As we have talked further about the futurist poet Kruchenykh, it has been made clear that he was a part of the minimalism movement. Being minimalistic, the techniques he used were meant to give the reader a sense of his poems being open to interpretation. Some of his poems are focused on merely the sound of individual words, and nothing more. His more complicated poems use obscure terms and seem to be rambling and off topic; he did this intentionally to give the reader a sense of open endedness. The style of minimalism is doing more with less; what i think this means is haveing the observer focus more on the details than unified meaning; kind of a quality over quantity.
