In class on Tuesday while watching the short video and talking more in depth of Dada and what they stood for I definitely understood it better. I like reading these Dada articles because it is definitely better to understand and decipher what they are saying compared to other avant-garde reading we have done. I like the women's perspective in the excerpt because in Tuesdays readings it was mostly focused on a few male dadaists. I think that reading these excerpts give me the impression that they were a very political group and trying to not conform to art with a capital A. I find that interesting especially during the time period that this movement is taking place.
