Russian futurism is obviously very inspired by Italian futurism and the chapter "Russian Futurism and the Soviet State" proves that. I find Russian futurism just as interesting as Italian futurism. I like in the pictures that were drawn between and even in the poems. I found it interesting and a nice change of pace. I also like the minimalism of Kruchenykh as I find it easier to understand what he was going for (if that even makes sense). It sort of implies that Kruchenykh wants the reader to decide what it means, which is what I assume the whole point of futurism is.
