12/7

I see similarities to automatic writing throughout these poems. It seems that the author has not held back and creates fluidity by writing about whatever new thought is sparked by their previous statements. The author jumps from idea to idea, but they all have similar connotations or have a similar structural appearance. This is similar to Google because when we search for a particular word, other similar topics show up and can give a person ideas for a more expansive search. The visual poetry of Nico Vassilakis is very interesting. He seems to focus a lot on the color scheme of his pieces. There are bold, bright colors presented throughout the work that really pop. The large, zoomed in print stands out strongly against the background color. He played around with the focus, and visibility of letters and words. Each piece throws off a different feeling for the audience to interpret.

Flarf Poem:
Lies up in smoke
I wish it would stop
Unspoken Talking Silence in a still room
Torn acknowledgment
Punishment a ticking clock
broken
