11/11

The Manifestos began by saying that all literature begins with inspiration. No matter what the topic is, no matter how the audience feels about it, an author was inspired to write about it. All the works we have read this year, no matter how challenging, confusing, or profound, are the result of an author’s inspiration. The Manifestos also talked about Synthetic and Analytic Tendencies; developing new possibilities exceeding what was expected. This strongly relates to the authors we have worked with because all of them have found a way to push the limits and create new possibilities. Some create new words, some focus on sounds instead of contextual meaning and some mix languages and bridge gaps between language barriers.
