Post for 10/5

There is a little bit of dada in the reading we had for today. Marchel Duchamp made a 'new' painting from an old painting by just adding two colored dots onto an old piece of artwork. It brought more retrospect to the colored dots and put more emphasis onto the dots and the artwork in general. It brings contrast into play. It makes you ask why do you see it how it is. It makes you question the art itself. Do you really see art ? Why is this art and how did you do it? It brings back the way of being meaning if you dont like the way we do things then you need to get out of our way. Reading about the interviews within the reading for today is what I like. It gave me a full understand of what is meant word for word by both sides of the story.
