10/5
While reading Duchamps readings it made me realize it has a lot to do with what we have been talking about the last couple weeks. It has a lot to do with art, and what art is, and especially what art is all about. I loved how in the interview he said he does not want to be considered a famous artist, and that he wanted to escape that label altogether. That really shows he is a true artist and does not really care what other people think about him or his work, and he does it because he loves it. Even if his art is adding something from someone else’s piece of work that is his art idea adding to someone else, and I think it is great.
