10/28

When I was younger I was taught in school to always read the first couple sentences of a novel and then flip to the end and read the last sentence and try to figure out what happened in-between the novel. Macedonia reminds me a lot of my grade school teachers in that way. He put the end of the story first and worked backwards. I thought that was very interesting on his part. I believe every good writer has a purpose to his madness, and his madness was definitely trying to keep his readers interested. I know the person below me noticed the same thing, and I honestly thought I was crazy for thinking the way I did, but now it makes even more sense. I loved this week the most for this particular reading because it took me back to childhood memories.
