Post For 9/16

When you think of Russians what do you see? I see hockey personally. It always reminds me of the great upset of the USA Hockey team over Russia. Such an epic win. No one ever thought suck a small team (USA) would over come and change the outcome of something everyone already predicted. Trotsky had made many believers during his day that no one would have expected. He had converted people to believe that the russian revolution had turned people from futurists into revolutionists and ultimately going against communism. It wasn't until he spoke hypothetically about it that people started to believe in what he was saying. As if when he would joke about it everyone else would take it seriously whereas if he was talking serious no one would believe him. After reading this it left me pondering as why people wouldn't believe that such a big event would convert so many peoples beliefs. Why won't they listen to someone who is obviously talking about something that is currently happening and is possibly still happening today?
