The Dada poetry is definitely an example of what comes to mind when I think of poetry. I felt as if no matter how hard I tried, I just coulndn't seem to grasp the concept behind the futurist idea of writing. The Dada poetry, however, made some sense in terms of what poetry is in my eyes. One of the poems which caught my attention and really seemed to fit well with the time period in which it was wrote was: Song to the Dawn. When I was reading this particular poem, I was able to relate it to the period and how the author was most likely making references to how the value of life had been degraded. Overall, I feel like the Dada poetry will be something which I will find easier to read and actually find some meaning in.
