The way I went into reading these poems I was optimistic. I ended reading these poems confused as hell. Even though it was translated into english some of the wording still made no sense at all. The parts that did make sense to me though gave me a sense of a love struck poem. How he is battling the emotion he has for someone even though that very someone is hurting him emotionally. I feel as if it is driving him crazy because he cannot figure out what to do within this poem to deal with his emotions. This relfects his personality because he was a crazy guy, or so I read, getting a house for the pension money. I think Kruchenykh was confused by himself when writing his own peoms because if some of it was un-translateable which means he was writing not even in russian. He was crazy in a sense that his own writing portrayed him that way.
