Post 9/21

I read a few poems about the food part of the Gertrude Stein series and it made oddly enough sense for me to comprehend what is going on in them. I didn't know you could put emotions into such things as food. At one point in one of the poems I thought mutton was going to kill itself. It had a lot of dark emotions what with melting, cutting, mixing, or any other way you could slice and dice food as a way to hurt it. Food is delicious but I never saw it from their point of view till I read these poems. Thanks to these poems I most likely will think twice before eating. I will eat but I will just be reminded of this poem every time I ingest food.
